Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back
In order to test our abilities before the Build Season and to be certain we will successfully tackle all challenges, for the last month we have been deeply concentraited on building our first robot as a team. It was advised to do by PhD Tomasz Winiarski, with whom we met on 12th of December in Warsaw University of Technology. We worked out the details there and just when the parts had arrived, on December 20, we were ready to start building. We set up the server, built the frame and made the robot move using control pad. Control commands were given to microcontroller which was located on Arduino UNO Board. We navigated four H bridges, to which were the Mecanum wheels connected. Lithium-ion battery in the size 18659 along with step-down converter were the source of electrical power for our robot.
